Dam fine food. Been here numerous times. Food always very good, huge portions fresh chips and salsa when you sit down. Tortilla soup not to be missed. Makes a great Meal on its own!! A worthy stop .

The food is fantastic but if you make reservations, they may call you 2 hours before and say they overbooked!

Short-Sighted Free Bowl of Chilli!I cannot believe how short-sighted the manager and staff are at this restaurant. We tried to support them during Covid19 with the approach of supporting small business. We ordered take out on 29 April, they gave me the wrong meal and realized when we got home. We had called at the time, and they said they said just tell us next time, and we give you a free meal, after calling today the first person that answered was rude to my wife, then claimed that she could be lying, she then spoke to the manager. He was also rude stating that why we are maintaining the meal three weeks later and then proceeded to say that its hard to understand the query over the phone, surely 12 bucks with a cost of $7 is not a reason to turn customers away. Next time just take the approach of thanking the customers for their business and try to work out a possible resolution!

Always have to hit Armandos when we vacation in the desert. World Famous "homestyle" Rita's. El Paseo Rita (chambord), Tamarindo Rita, and traditional Cadillac were on tap to share today. Chicken caesar and Shrimp Cocktail were delicious. Sit back and enjoy the conversations of the day with fresh crisp chips and salsa with a little spicy kick. Staff is pleasant as always. My favorite chili rellenos anywhere. Friends love the fajitas, ceviche, enchiladas, great location and the margaritas are insane.

This place was amazing. We were greeted as we walked through the door and offered our choice of seating. The service was fast and friendly. They serve some of the best salsa I've found in the valley and the items we ordered were delicious. I would highly recommend Armondo's to anyone looking for great food and service!

The GREETING Receptionist, took our temperature..all was good. You are good to enter if your body temperature is below 100.04 degrees. The staff is delighted to be back to work and truthfully every guest was continously wearing a smile. Barstools were tied together so from the backs to the front seat were blocked off.Dining tables were marked with blue tape "x"..keeping in the state code OF NO SITTING AND DISTANCE MATTERS.ARMANDOS is a great and fun place to eat! Another plus is this restaurant, Is its located on El Paseo, with plenty of parking behind the restaurant. Lasty, after dinner, it's a great idea to take a stroll up and down El Paseo (both sides of the street). After eating a very delicious dinner, taking a very nice walk, fresh air, wearing flip flops, shorts and a tank top or Levi's, long sleeved shirt/blouse and a lightweight jacket. Bottom Line..ENJOY,

when our party of four arrived for our 4:30 happy hour reservation, we were told our reservation was for 3:30 and our table was given away!! When booking, I specifically remember asking attendant to repeat date and time. Totally disappointed!!

Goog food and a good variety of food, however if you consider it a truly Mexican restaurant they are missing the traditional Mexicans fresh waters

Popped in for a mid-shopping drink then met brother n dad for lunch at Tommy Bahama's WHICH WAS PACKED so my friend louise n I convinced them to go back to Armando's for lunch!! Wait time was 5-7 mins for outside seating. Staff are Exceptionally friendly, helpful, and positive! Chips & Salsa while were a treat with our drinks as we waited for our lunch.

I’ve been looking forward to eating here since the last time we visited Palm Desert. Strongest margarita in the west. Ask for “training wheels” aka extra margarita mix if you want to water it down. So good!

Im new to the Palm Desert area and my friend introduced me to this place. Amazing food I'm absolutely addicted to the Pina colada! It's so refreshing and you've got to try the food. I've been there 3 times now and have NOT been disappointed. Serving sizes are generous and the staff is friendly. Its quickly become 1 of my favorite places-highly recommended!

Killer Margaritas, so good, and food was amazing, staff friendly and very attentive, great place to sit and watch the people go by. You can't go here and not have a great experience.

Nice place to have lunch. We were driving by and stopped on a whim. Not disappointed at all. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Great place to sit and people-watch. I had the grilled salmon tacos. Salmon was seasoned perfectly. Had a nic3 grill. Assembled tacos were delicious. Came with rice and beans. Finished the tacos and couldn't finish the rest. So much food.Chips and salsa were excellent. Nice flavor and the right amount of heat. Definitely go there again.

Wonderful food! One of the most popular restaurants on El Paseo with good reason. Also famous for fabulous cocktails. Tables inside with great atmosphere; tables outside for people-watching. You can tell it's summer when the misters are cooling down the patio. You will love this place!
